Hand-Crafted CBD Chocolates
Our most recent addition to our product line is an edible CBD – hand-crafted chocolates! We focused on formulating a dark chocolate product that is smooth and tasty. Our clients that helped us test our new edible CBD chocolate mentioned that our product is far superior, and a great alternative, to the standard gummy. Our homemade chocolates come in a variety of flavors including regular chocolate, peppermint-flavored chocolate, orange-flavored chocolate, and coffee & vanilla-flavored chocolate. We also formulated a sugar-free CBD chocolate as well.
Our chocolates have simple ingredients: Hemp CBD-infused Cocoa butter, Cocoa powder, powdered confectionery sugar, Kokum butter (also used in chocolate products), and olive oil. If the chocolate is flavored, essential oils are also added. In our sugar-free chocolate, the sugar substitute is powdered confectionery erythritol and stevia leaf extract. The sugar-free version also comes in the flavors listed above as well.
The instructions on the container quantifies the CBD per 2.5 gram cube. The low-end dosage is approximately 10 mg CBD for a 100 pound person while the high-end dosage is 50 mg CBD for a 100 pound person. Our stakeholders indicate that the “low-dosage” seemed to be sufficient for their diverse reasons to have edible CBD. Similar to gummies and tinctures, it may take about 45 minutes to take effect.
